Animated LED Retro Frame Double Set - 8 Bit Pac and Ghost with Pico Pi Controller.

Inspired by neon lighting and the dazzle of the arcade parlour, our animated retro frames provide a real taste of the 80s! Chain up to 6 LED retro frames together to create a nostalgic ambience in your room, switch out the panes for a whole new image, or tinker with the freely available code to get it looking exactly how you want!

Each LED retro frame is constructed from up to 4 individually laser etched acrylic panes surrounded by 3 LEDs embedded into each side of the frame (12 total). The frame itself is 3D printed and finished with an oak veneered rounded bezel for the best nostalgic vibes. An MDF backboard with hanging points and an acrylic mirror pane behind the etched image complete the product for a trippy infinity mirror effect.

Each retro frame has an input and an output cable allowing up to 6 retro frames to be daisy changed together, running from just a single Pi Pico controller for power and animation data. The code for running our retro frames is available to all to tinker with. Changing the order and image on retro frames is as simple as plugging in the Pi Pico and editing a single text file.

Active LEDs: 12 of 12 for both.

Default Effects: 

3 Step RGB on top and bottom level detail (provides direction)

Pac chomp forward and backwards (2 Frames each, sharing full circle)

Ghost Wiggle (2 frames) and Eyes forward and backward. Flashes when chased, Turns Blue (Inky) when chasing. Can be programmed to be Pink, Orange or Red
